General Auditions for our 2011-2012 Season will take place sometime in June or July of 2011.

Meanwhile, if you are interested in other ways of participating with Amicus, please consider helping us out backstage! See below for details.

Our 33rd season will be:

Submissions should include a theatrical resume (including contact information for the producer of your most recent work) and a treatment for the vision of the play which the director is applying for, which may or may not include style, set, lighting, choreography, costume choices different from the script. The deadline for submissions is April 25, 2011.

All candidates will be required to attend an interview on the afternoon of April 29, 2011 before the selection process is finalized. Candidates will be contacted for their interview time. If you are not available that afternoon for an interview but have an interest in applying, please contact us and we will try to accommodate you.

All positions are on a non-union, non-paying, voluntary basis.

Reading copies of the scripts will be available at the Metro Reference Library Arts Desk and Theatre Ontario as well as through Amicus.

Design Teams:

We are currently looking for producers, stage managers, lighting and sound designers, costume and props coordinators and set designers for our upcoming season. Some experience is preferred.

General:

We are always looking for backstage techs, from assistant stage managers to lighting and sound operators, from build and lighting crews to front-of-house ushers. If you are interested in participating in theatre and meeting some very fun and colourful people along the way, this is a great way to do so!
